I trailered my car to Anglesey last year because I was convinced my alternator was going to fry itself. It did! but fortunately not until about3.30pm so I had a good run but I’m glad I took the trailer.
I’d wager on someone having a similar problem this year…

Pete…big DVA refresh going on so thought I’d replace the electricky bits…tried a windmill but too much drag. 
well I needed it myself in the end
