Is it a easy change? or is it a big job? came to my car the other day after it had been a bit wet and started squeeking 
and done the same today when it is dry… so i think it needs changing, could be wrong but think it is due one, let me know on if novice is able to change it

just read the how to replace it and going to give it ago myself i think, can you source the alternator belt from a toyota dealer or is it a specific lotus part?
Lotus part is, wait for it �78 plus vat, last time we checked!!!
Take yours off and go to a factors and they should be able to match it up.

Have used an aftermarket one on a few cars to no ill affect. All NA up to this point tho.
arghh so it will make a different being s/c and a/c am guessing?
Cars all had AC, but were NA. A SC belt will be longer, so should be ok.
You never know, the SC one maybe cheaper from Lotus?!!!?

I think I might be in need of a new alternator belt, I have abit of a squeel going on when I come off the accelerator.
Did you DIY in the end, if so dont suppose you have the part number and cost?
