Here’s the plan:
Saturday 27 July drive down to the Alps, then 4 days of Alps passes plus the Black Forest, arriving at the Ring for the Bookatrack trackdays on 1st/2nd August, then back to Blighty.
The route is based loosely on previous Seloc Alps trips plus taking on recommendations from previous Alps tour experts (thanks guys!). It takes in a number of the great passes: Grand St Bernard, Tremola, Furka, Grimsel, Susten, Wassen, Gotthard and Klausen.
Day 1 Sat 27 July - Calais to Les Rousses - 439miles
Day 2 Sun 28 July - Les Rousses to Aosta (Saint Pierre) - 199m
Day 3 Mon 29 July - Aosta to Wassen (Andermatt) - 230m
Day 4 Tue 30 July - Wassen to Titisee - 226m
Day 5 Wed 31 July - Titisee to Nurburgring – plenty of B500 action - 293m
Day 6 Thu 1 Aug - Nurburgring Bookatrack track day
Day 7 Fri 2 Aug - Nurburgring Bookatrack track day
Day 8 Sat 3 Aug - Nurburgring to Calais - 294m
I have Google route maps and ideas for hotels.
At the moment I’m after expressions of interest, with the aim of booking the Eurotunnel and hotels in about a weeks time.
