Morning all. My alarm/ immobiliser light has started to come on when driving. I presume it is due to water getting into the electrics as the car lives outside?
Has anyone else had this problem, where should i go with the trusted WD40?
Any advice much appreciated
Hi,
I face the same problem.
Mine is due a flat battery that I jumpstarted. Maybe yours is due al temporary low battery as well. (Cranking at low temperature / almost flat battery).
Don’t know how to solve the problem jet.
Q.
I did wonder about the battery as i think it is still on the original but the car starts fine every time. Been dry today and it was fine until i pulled into the gym, close to where i live. Hmmm…

Cheers for that. Battery was almost dead yesterday, it seemed fine before that but the cold weather nearly killed it yesterday so got a new one and no more light flashing when i am driving!
Thanks once again

Started flashing again, dropped the car off at sportomotive who took out the ECU to check if water around this area was the problem and then the car would not start. They’ve sent off the ECU to be checked. ECU may need to be repaired or possible new one. So still have not solved this one Hope that it is the ECU, as that seems knackered anyway.
