Done a couple of trackdays now and looking at the photo’s my car seems to lean quite a bit more than other peeps.I have the adjustable blue with red springs the ones with the blue adjusters,which have numbers on,fronts set at 3 rears set at 2.What do i need to set them at for track use and do i need to alter the height of the springs,also got adjustable anti roll bar.Or do i just leave it alone. Thanks
I haven’t had any use of adjustable Billies but Lean from an image you shouldn’t concern yourself with…cars lean and it’s not all bad. If you’re looking for off the sheet settings buy some Ohlins…I did. Then the more you use them on track the more you’ll feel where to adjust them and you’ll always be able to default back to a setting should you get a little lost. And there are always Lotus’s very own service book settings for belt and braces. I always drove to and from on 240 track settings as well as use them for Anglesea…and so on lol it’s easy stuff really IMO I think this this is good advice and I don’t know anyone who use yours
If we are talking a set of these which I had on my ‘super sport’ S, they were great on the road but way too soft for track use even with the settings turned up high;
Not sure if you had the service notes that came with then;
This is what the car looked like on most bends;
I ended up going for one way Nitrons in the end and played around with spring settings but the car never was never as comfortable on the road again - all about compromise.
Yep HT67 those are the ones miles better than the standard billies fitted to my first Exige S, and thats what my car looks like through the corners.
I did not get any service notes when i bought the car thats what i am missing.
