After a chat with one or two Exigers and poring over the map with IDG, I set out on the A5.
First part of the drive was marred by being stuck behind four dodderers… But it gave me a chance to look at the scenery which was magnificent, all clad in snow.
Managed finally to get clear of the mobile chicanes and got stuck into the sweepers and long straights. VHPD screamer woke one or two Good Friday motorists. Snow was still stacked high at the roadside for much of the way but thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Didn’t add a great deal of time and very little mileage to my journey.
Yep I moaned when Ian made the change on the way but the more A5 we went up the bigger smile. Couldn’t make out the scenery lol it was bloody dark

That was a very spirited drive we had, one of the many highlights of the weekend
