Does anyone know what the small triangles on the outside edge of tyres are for ??? They are about 5mm square, I 1st thought that they may have been wear indicators but they look abot to far out.

I’ve often asked myself the same question.
They are in a little sqaure box…
I was told they are wear indicators for track use. If they’re inflated correctly and you’re not overdoing it/underdoing it in the corners the wear should ideally coincide with the tip of the triangle.
Of course that could be a complete load of tosh
