in the quest of searching for completing the S1 Exige register I have just come across this picture…
It brings a tear to my eye to see one like this… 
Yeah I took that photo. Nobody hurt though.
IIRC it was a motorsport bodied Elise with a Duratec conversion.
The lettering below Nitron seems apt 
I remember that day at Brands well, with Bens car going on fire and Rex’s on it’s roof we caused so much trouble in the MidEnginedSportCar race that the AMOC clerk of the course refused to sign our race licences!
Likewise on the remembering that. Two peole running up to me to say there a car on fire/on its roof at the same time, was a bit of surprise.
Three abreast and rubbing down the back straight and into Surtees didnt help either!!!
