_A message of many thanks seems wholly inadequate for everything that the Exige community have recently done both in memory of our beloved Con and also for making us feel so welcome at Anglesey - but we would just like to say a HUGE thanks to you all.
Your kindness and generosity have been incredible and we can only say what an amazing bunch of men and women you all are. Special thanks go to Gav and Steve who “whizzed” Beth and Ellen around the track (Ellen has the war wounds to prove it!), Ian for the incredible stickers which adorn not only our road cars but John and Thomas’ karts, the fantastic t-shirts produced by Mike and Carol which we will always wear with pride, the brilliant Red Caliper Award made by the very clever hands of Martin and Steve, the amazing signed picture of Con’s car, which has pride of place in his home in Leamington, skillfully put together by Ben and of course the irrepressible Mr. Pesky who organised the whole event including a very spectacular ride for Thomas and Lucy in Con’s car with Stuart Jones.
In total, a fantastic �700 was raised from the sale of the t-shirts, stickers and your kind donations on the day. We’ll be dividing this money between the following two charities in memory of Con; Headway - the brain injury charity and Maison Familiale Hospitaliere in Grenoble, France- a charity funded hostel near to the hospital where Con was treated that provides accommodation and support to families far from home. Once again thank you all for your kind generosity in raising this incredible amount.
We look forward to seeing you all next year and in the meantime all the very best to you and your families.
