A good cause at Goodwood - reminder

Info:

On Tuesday, 22 July 2003, once again Goodwood will reverberate to the exhilarating sounds of road and race cars pounding round the track, of laughter and merriment from hilarious spectacle witnessed to noisy appreciation of a good effort put in for a good cause. In an atmosphere of camaraderie, lovers of fast cars, loud engines, English countryside at its finest, and a fun day out will gather for a special Charity Track Day to benefit UK cancer charities, at the legendary Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit in the heart of West Sussex.

A Good Cause at Goodwood is centred around an action packed day of on-track and off-track activities and events, culminating in an Award Ceremony for the winners of the light-hearted team competitions held throughout the day and the presentation of cheques to the supported charities. Those of you who attended the 2000 and 2001 events will remember what fun we had ‘putting something back’! The Programme is now on the website to give you full details of the events lined up for the Day that will provide a memorable experience whether participator or spectator, private or corporate supporter. To newcomers, visit our website www.agoodcauseatgoodwood.com to see what a great time we had and to view the off-track and track-side activities galleries. BTW, we will be running ten-car sessions with 98 dbs limit applying and a full posse of ARDS instructors, plus karting, and breakfast and lunch also included in the price. Topped off with a Raffle and Auction and Prizes. Good value or what?!

To join in all the fun will cost only 235 per individual entry plus a Raffle Prize valued at 25 (Perfect time to get rid of some of the old corporate or unwanted gifts!). If you want to make a corporate team day of it, just multiply your team numbers by 235! We are sure you would love to join us so please complete and return the entry form as soon as possible to ensure your place. Would you also pass on a copy of this form to 3 other people to help spread the word! We are always oversubscribed so please get your entry in quickly when we will confirm your place by return. Thanks for your support and hope to welcome you on the Day!

Noise Control at Goodwood
We are very lucky to have one of Goodwood;s precious Track days; only 90 are permitted each year ; and noise control is paramount with a 98-decibel restriction applying. Please Note! Decibel readings of EVERY car will be taken on the day and for a small donation, extra baffles can be hired from the Goodwood Marshals that fit most cars. Most racing cars or historic/sports/rally cars may not comply so please contact us if you have a REALLY noisy (lovely!) car you wish to bring along and we will see what we can do.
