a bit off topic, but...

So apparently with the new exhaust, supercharger pulley and chip tune, my Mustang is making around 380rwhp. That would be ~40rwhp over the last time I dynoed it and ~15rwhp over the highest it’s ever gone. It’s not practical for me to have two impractical cars , so my goal with the 'Stang had been to get it to pass emissions and fix the power problems so I could sell it with a clear conscience. The new numbers shook me up a bit, since I’d been expecting more like 350rwhp. With my work schedule, it will be a few more days until I can collect the car from the shop.

I told Helena about it, just offhand, and she said that it “would be a shame if you had to sell it right away now that you’ve finally gotten it working right.” So apparently, I don’t have to sell the Mustang right away as I’d been planning to do. It furthermore seems that I have to get the car out on the track at least one more time before I sell it or all that work I did on it will be wasted.

Who am I to argue with The Boss?

On the advice of someone here (can’t remember who, sorry), I picked up a copy of UK Evo’s 2005 Car of the Year issue, the one with the 2005 Roush Mustang lined up with a 240R, and I definitely have an opinion on Mustangs vs. Exiges, if there’s interest in hearing it.

hey, thats great news…please carry on…

Yes, go on!

Would love to hear just how different they are.

ermmm… is the Pope a Catholic ?

Alrighty then. The 'Stang is in the shop right now and I haven’t driven it very much lately, so give me a little time to fix that and I’ll write somethingup.
