i have rebuilt my elise s1 (not exige)and put in a honda engine.
the problem i have now is that the temp sensor is showing 999c
i tryed a new ground, but its still the same, i have bought 2 new senors and its the same.
The Stack dash will need to have the temperature signal come from the original blue sensor on the Elise/exige rather than the water temp sensor on the honda that sends it’s signal to the ECU. the two sensors work on a different resistance. We usually fit an inline fitting in the water pipe system with the blue sensor in it to take the water temp directly to the stack.
Hope this helps.
Usually any channel on the stack that is getting no signal will show 999. As oppsosed to showing 0 for a working sensor that’s not reading anything yet.

we have tryed the lotus stock sensor, i bought 2 new on eliseparts, its the same problem, i will try a new cabel to the stack, is it going directly in to the stack or does it change cabels or anything on the way.
