Fatcat, what problems have you encountered in the search for a trusty steed? and what do consider to be acceptable mileage?
Crikey, first off choosing between and S1 & S2 - for my needs I’m slowly steering towards an S2 - more importantly it must have the Performance Pack as most of it’s life with me will be spent on a track or some nearby kitty litter
Colour has also proved very difficult, I’m after a particular colour/s and this my main stumbling block.
Mileage - well, if the right colour came along with the PP, then I would have to be quite flexible on the mileage.
Then again, I have driven 4k mileage examples right upto some 28k mileage examples, but generally (and personally)I would try to avoid any thing over 10k.
Patience is not my strong point.
Ive found that sub 10k miles tend to be �24k+ which is a little more than I wanted to spend. Might have to take it on the chin.
Ive given up on trying to find Orange, krypton or white. even black seems to hold its value quite well. Your patience seems better than mine!
I dont mind being a charity case if someone feels like lowering thier price because they feel like a ‘good bloke’

2005 05 S2 PP White 8k for �22500 private
2005 05 S2 PP Red 6k for �22500 private
2005 05 S2 PP Blue 7k for �25k+ stealer
They are out there.
The blue one I almost bought from B&C if its the same. Unfortunately couldnt get the funds together in time.
I dont know how I missed the white one!
The red private exige was the one that got away, think it had the super touring pack aswell…
Do you know any good sites other than Pistonheads, autotrader??

Many 2006 plates I’ve seen come in under this with much less miles and in similar colours

I know I’m biased mate, but if most of your use is on track I think you’ll regret not getting an S1
