Wanting to add a crotch strap to my Schroth 4 point harness and see ref to a harness bar for fitting to the underside of the seat . So far I can only find Schroth crotchstraps with hook -in fittings which I guess will be too bulky.
I remember having a “nut cracker” single strap in my S 1 which fitted to a bar under the seat but can’t remember where I got it from and now can’t find one on line.
Help please guys. 
do you have the ASM harness? You’ll have a yellow sticker on the strap over your left shoulder
If so they’re designed to lessen the need for a bollock strap, as the ASM tears to fold you over the lap strap slightly and it’s in one strap only to turn you away from the pasenger
Might have some in the garage Clive. I’ll take a look over the weekend.
I have the Willans harnesses and just bought the v type crotch strap and some eyelets then bolted through the floor with spreader plates.

Muu yes I do have the ASM type but I feel so much safer with a crotch strap as well …the nut cracker is something else

Hi Clive, this is what I have.
The two bars are threaded through the belts bolt under the seat across the subframe.
This was the original lotus solution before the moved to bolting a roller bar to the floor behind the chassis rail, but that solution requires drilling/cutting the chassis rail from below.
As you’ll see the belts are out of their FIA date, but otherwise 100%.

Bit of thread drift but I had te original push-button buckle in my car. Gav relayed a story about someone upside down in a 211 and the difficulty releasing it when it was suspending someone. Changed mine to the twist type now…

I have heard the Ben scenario before so will change to a Willians 6 pointer even though it means drilling chassis.
