I bought a 06 Exige last week (may have seen my other thread TRD)
The car has had full lotus service history from Murray Lotus in Edinburgh to 39,800 . Even though the car has only covered a further 2,200 miles since then the non lotus dealer I bought it from decided to service the car ?
I enquired yesterday as to what brand of oil they have used and was told they used 5/30 longlife ! so the car has covered about 300 miles with this in need I be worried ?
I wouldn’t worry too much,but every car I buy that I’m intending to keep I always change the oil to one of my favourites …Mobil 1 or Valvoline …
Just run it for a norml period then change it to something you would prefer
