4 pot AP-racing

Hello!
I’ve bought S240 2008, that was abandoned about 5 year, on outside

I’m fully rebuilding it now:
Can somebody help me in my questions:

Now I’m going to rebuild my brake system
I got 308mm two-piece, can i use 315mm on stock caliper? (Seen on eliseparts this disks)

Need caliper number in AP system

Need part number of refurbishing caper set or crossover

Congrats on your purchase, any photos?

If it’s been abandoned and not worked on for 5 years, I suspect there maybe quite a few items that will need replacing, etc as you move through it.

I would give Simon a call https://www.scottrussellsportscars.co.uk/

He’s been in the Lotus game for years and is very knowledgeable :+1:

Having gone/going through a S1 Elise that’s spent over 20 years outside, it can be painful at times, both physically and on one’s wallet! :grimacing::smile:

Welcome! Lots of help available on here👍

For a 2008 car you have a chance of having 2 different types of the 4 pot caliper being fitted to it. You could have the 260CUP setup P/N CP7624 which is the same caliper as you can get in MG ZF’s or the later 4 pot setup which has the p/n of CP7635-2S0BG:LOT for RHT CP7635-3S0BG:LOT for LHT.

The easist way to tell is if the caliper bolts directly to the upright or not. If its a direct bolt its CP7635 if there is an adpartor bracket it CP7624.

As for fitting bigger discs you will have to get spacers between thwe caliper and the upright to space it out for them to fit.

Hope that helps

Thanks, my friends.

This kit is for both of them?

Some photos:

EP site states kit is for one caliper, so you will need to order 2 kits
