…still some places with Lotus on a Track. I have it booked with my Academy car. Last (third) outing of the year. I really need to retire and get a Bat season pass.

I looked at a bat season pass a while ago, worked out the value if i did different amount of track days and the cost of consumables of 20+ trackdays put me off, this was back when i’d eat a set of 888s in 4 days though the Avons seem to last forever. As it happens I then bought a house and had a baby and my trackdays per year dropped to 0-5, glad i wasn;t lumbered with an expensive season pass
I have never liked the rain and cold tracks in the Exige so I hope the Caterham makes me more brave. If the worst should happen, it’s much cheaper to fix and will just go back into the BaT Cave to be fixed.
I have so far managed 3 track days this year…mixture of work, holiday, family and a broken Exige for most of the summer. I am supposed to be semi-retired but have never been more busy…something is wrong.
