Has anyone had one of Jims new repackable exhausts? As my car may only see a track a couple of times, is it really worth me having a repackable one?

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Jim say the stuff he used in his boxes didn’t ever need to be repacked?

Not sure 661… I was speaking to Jim about a back box and he mentioned the repackable one, I think it’s a fairly new design but I’m just interested in hearing users experience of this type

Why the re-think?
I can’t find/keep the skilled workers I need up here in the oil capital of Europe, so I’m out-sourcing more and more. I don’t expect Lotus to survive for much longer (IMO), so I’ll be moving into other markets and concentrating solely on R&D of the new stuff.
I don’t trust people to tie their own shoe laces(!), so it’s going to be difficult. I want the hi-power (+260whp)SC exhausts to be re-packable as not everyone is diligent. NOISE is a big issue now, everywhere, and it’s very frustrating to have to concentrate on this instead of weight/performance. C’est la vie.
