240R Wheels refurbished

Got my wheels back from Lepsons today, overall a decent enough finish and I managed to snap one of their step up adapters when tightening up the wheel bolts :frowning:

Still a few pictures, will take some better ones tomorrow after the car has been cleaned.

They look good, i considered that style with mine

looks really good!!

Quite retro, think I like it. Saw a 80โ€™s Porsche with similar fuchs today.

What did they look like before ?

Were they just the same only pitted/knackered etc ?

Do like the contrasting rim though - no dirty comments Mr Pesky

They were satin/matt black, no marks or anything I just fancied a change

Neil.

So you had the rims painted silver then ?

They are like the Jim Clark elise, I had similar thoughts for mine at some point. I like the gold rim on the exige type 72 but would look pap with red.

Nope, the whole wheel is painted gloss black and the rim is painted silver with lacquer over the whole lot.

Wheels look nice , suit the car .
Btw do you run your car on coal or is that six months of exhaust gunk on your rear clam ?

Thatโ€™s probably about a months worth of dirt on the rear :stuck_out_tongue:

There is no cat and Iโ€™m not sure if Sincs turned on or off the fuel cut when the car was mapped?
