240 Cup Seats Question

Sadly a temporary cashflow crisis means I’m going to have to sell my Cup but before I do, thought it might be better to replace the rather garish (but effective) aftermarket seats and steering wheel with standard OEMs and perhaps offer the ‘reds’ as an extra.


I’m ok on the steering wheel, but I wonder whether anyone can tell me what the spec of the seats was when these cars were oriinally released and is there a part number I can give to my friendly local dealer?

I rembember this car when it was for sale for 30k for ages on Pistonheads

then David ALexander brought it and added there cut.

It was a Nice red/Black car if I rembember owed by a Doctor
his brother also had one in Black/Red which was also for sale at the same time.

the standard CUP seats are worth more than the red seats imho do you still have them ?

You are correct this is the David Alexander car - well remembered (It was actually for sale at �36k, I paid �34k) Sadly I don’t have the original seats hence my desire to replace the red stuff before I sell.

For those interested in the red items I’ll drop you a PM once the car is sold, hopefully within the next couple of months.

In the meantime can anyone help in identifying what the OEM seats are?

Point taken, but unfortunately they are branded ‘Elise’ at the top! I was thinking about giving myself the best chance of selling that was all.
