I am after some help and assistance. After gratefully driving the Exiges of Mark and C1RVY I am considering getting one for racing, preferably a 240 Cup. Can someone confirm to me the specification of these cars, as I am finding conflicting info on the net. I am primarily interested in roll cages, electrical isolation and fire extinguisher systems, as I have seen in a 260 Cup at the Exiges.com Anglesey day in 2013.

i thought only the cup had the elecrical isolation etc., i.e. track prep’d

Don’t forget there were 2 types of 240Cup, the track spec and the road spec. The track spec had the cage and the isolation switches, and the road spec didn’t.
When I was looking for a road spec car, all I could find were track spec! Now you don’t see many of either. Couple of examples here, one if not both sold;
There was a very low mileage white Cup260 for sale recently, complete with cage - but the ad has gone now, keep an eye on the classifieds, c.£36K.
Thanks for all the replies your help is much appreciated. After re reading the regs it seems I can have a 260 cup so will be hunting for one of those with full cage.
May see some of you at Anglesey in April. I may bring the current race car for a run.
