Even you are saying some air is going through the roof scoop…and the effective area is reduced by that small amount. I was also assuming that the back end of the Mohawk scoop was not connected to anything since you’ve stated that you were not using it…that would allow even more air through the Mohawk scoop and reduce the effective area even more…
not taking the scoop off I like the way it looks and it makes it look like the Exige it is, not some form of half bred Elige (Sorry JF)
I might re open it if I ever get the time to route the air intake to it in the vain hope to calm down some of the SC whine setting off the noise meters at Donny, not sure that will work, but I do like to try stuff out sometimes…
That is what my plan is! I want the air intake to the engine to be the Mohawk scoop and use the large side scoops with 4" ducts to cool the intercooler…
