Any comments on whether using these makes a difference to maintaining optimum geo when the car is lowered. Yes, there are Sector 111’s lowered hubs, but is this a reasonable compromise offering proven results. (running 115 at the front)
I run them on my car, along with the 211 steering arms.
Give me a call if you need the full info
If I was going to change my wishbone bushes for rosejoint ones I would change mine, but given I have not knocked out a top ball joint yet then I am not going to bother till then.
Yet to fully comprehend the advantages of a rose jointed set up for my needs, the nitron bushes sound ample. Sounds like a winter job along with the charge cooler. Suspect I might as well just get my pay directed straight to Dave.
Running the 211 upper wishbones, doesn’t help out your wishbone angles at all. The ball joints are just mounted at a more forgiving angle, so you wont knuckle out the ball joint during suspension compressions on a lowered car…
So are the lowering hubs a better option then?
for wishbone angles, yes.
Are these angles as important at the rear?
I am getting more convinced I am not a good enough driver to notice the difference, especially not £3k+ difference the lowered uprights cost!
I am more inclined to use the 211 upper wishbones to help the ball joint angle when I get the spherical bearings done hopefully this winter
