205 45 16 Front Tyres on standard S1 Exige Rims

Hi,

Before I start, just a quick hello (well it is polite to :slight_smile: ). I own an S1 with a motorsport body and an n/a honda. I’ve been registered for a while, but not had the need to post as yet, and have been happily browsing :slight_smile:

Well the need has now arisen, and I’d appreciate any advice. I am looking for a new set of road tyres (I run standard S1 Exige wheels). I have been looking at AD08’s but notice they only come in 205 45 16 for the front. Has anybody run this size front tyre on an S1 Exige - my car is running 400/500 Nitron suspension as well.

I run 205 R1R’s on standard rims and have no problems at all.

I got some really funny looks trailering it back from the bodyshop. It was a dull drizzly day on the M6 between xmas and new year and the looks on peoples faces as they drove past were great!
