one of our car insurances has doubled even though we had protected no claims, that was the insurance with the cheapest car, went from £260 to £540! doesn’t look good for the £350 and £550 policies
Interestingly the 6 points were only £34 of the increase
Yeah, all PNC does is keep the discount. The fact you have claimed changes your risk profile which that discount gets applied to. You got other quotes?
I would really like to do this but going to be too busy with work this year, plus I would need lots of tuition before I attempt Spa 
I will go and look for other companies, biggest problem we have are the 2 next cars, the Exige which only a few people will touch anyway due to the mods, and the Q3 which looks like we have ticked all the option boxes on, some insurers do not cover factory fitted options which can be a real pain on a new car
