2011 Dates starting to come up

Lots of 2011 dates coming up - anybody else fancy these ?
Hate being on my own !!!

Oulton on 25th Jan with MSV - bargain at 119

Silverstone Arena GP 5th Feb with Easytrack - 189

Oulton on 18th Feb with Bookatrack - 150

Anglesey on 12th March with Circuitdays - 169 - chance for a little practice ?

And some other dodgy looking event on the 16th/17th April on fantasy island

I fully intend to do some trackdays next year, but as it’ll be my first time on track, I’m trying to work out the best one to do.

I’ve done a whole load of car control days, airfield days, days at Millbrook, etc, but I’ve not actually done a “track day”.

Anyway, expect to see me at a few next year, once I find a track to start off on

I sometimes go to half days or buy 20 minute slots at Brands Hatch, this can be an easier way in, also you can get tuition for the sessions as well.

Chris,

Get yourself to Anglesey on 16th April. It should be almost exclusively Exige/Lotus, with loads of peeps from here.

Lots of banter, lots of help and advice & very good driving standards. A great and safe circuit too. You will love it!

Donny on March 5th Chris and 17th April at Anglesey for me so far with BaT.

Donny 5th March - booked  Betting your supercharger will be on order on the 6th !!!

Ade how do I go about booking a 20 min slotat brands?

go and look at the MSV website and look for the sessioned days

20 min sessions ???

What benefits can possibly be had in 20mins ? Just enough time to warm tyres and cool brakes !!!
And what happens if it’s pi$$ing down during that 20min window ?
Much better to book a full day with a ‘friendly’ track company and choose when to go out etc - LOT days would be a good start

As usual all in my shiny humble opinion !!!

I know the answer to this one - You have LOADS of fun in that 20 minutes!

As a starter for a first time I think it is a good idea, a couple of 20 minutes sessions with an instructor, they will learn more than spending all their money at Bedford for a complete day

20 mins on the Brands Indi circuit will give a beginner at least 12-15 laps which is alot to start with…but after 2-3 sessions I bet he will be hooked and wanting MORE…

In my case 20mins = 22 laps of course.
