2010 spoiler or not

Can he make another?

ok, just got my grp centre blade out and it’s stiff as a board…i cant bend it more than 1mm

I twisted my mates arm till it nearly came off to get him to make mine so no, sorry…I am trying to get another firm interested in making some up tho as I’ve been asked by a couple of people in the states. If it comes off I’ll let you know.

2010 2010 2010 2010!!!

I was unsure to start with but that elise looked pretty cool, go on go for it

On that link from lotus talk it says that the 2010 spoiler is availiable from elise-shop.com but i cant seem to find it, has anyone else found it on there or infact got a price from lotus, as alot of hear say is floating around.

Ade - no decision to make for me !

Go large

Paul at CN’s said 150 to me, they do wobble though so I would end up needing carbon in the middle.
Dont forget you’ll need a new boot lid too :frowning:

I have a plan for the bootlid, I was just going to make a couple of in fills
Still undecided, I might wait for a Carbon version though

Hmmm tempting, looks like its filthy cheap even from Lotus at a few hundred squid.

Ade if it really has to be carbon maybe u can get a price on the cup 260 one from lotus?

Be sure to be sat down for the reply. I got a quote for the cup 260 carbon interior parts from lotus…yours for circa 5000

Same here. Changed from a 2006 Exige S to the 2010 model. First outing on track last week at Castle Combe the difference was very noticeable. Seems much more planted.

I would have thought this was due to the geo more than anything. I certainley notice my car is way more stable at high speed after a geo…

To be honest, after looking at a 2010 car last weekend, I do prefer the new spoiler. If they are as cheap as everyone is saying, i probably pop in to my local lotus dealership and order one this weekend.

Has anyone actually fitted one? Does it bolt straight through the clam?

I had my '06 Exige geo done and corner weighting etc at Plans and it still isnt as planted at speed as my out of the box geo setup '10 Exige. Strange but true.

I’m beginning to think you and I are the same person

My 06 Exige was geo’d and corner weighted at Plans too, and my 2010 is still on factory settings, and it’s defintely better.

At Combe last week I was talking to Mark Funnell who races his Exige. He was very interested in my MY2010 so took him out for a few pax laps. In a moment of madness  I then gave him the keys and let him loose with it with me as a pax. He was very impressed and actually said that it was an excellent compromise between road and track and wouldn’t really change anything.
