Heading east early morning to Hethel last saturday I noticed the bright low level sun in the windscreen seemed to reflect a fine coating of what looked like a very noticeable layer of paint spray dust visible with or without polarised sunglasses. A flick wash / wipe of the screen made no difference. Out of direct head on sun the screen was ok.
The screen was cleaned inside and out the night before so I may have contamination on the duster. The plan is to use a clay bar on the screen with a mix of water and meths as a lubricant, new dusters, and may head to the Bicester Scramble on sunny Sunday morning and see if the problem is solved
Ignoring the top graduated green tint is there an anti UV or other coating on or in the screen ?
