2007 Exige S2 - Autumn Gold - £24750

Here we have for sale my pride and joy, a 2007 Lotus Exige S2 Touring. One owner from new, I have covered 77350 miles in this car, loved every minute, and kept it immaculate. It has both Hard top and Soft top, and Alcantara interior. Offers around £24750. Private plate not included. If you are interested, please call me (Steve) on 07765 848743.

It comes in the highly unusual colour of Autumn Gold, with the 190bhp Toyota 2ZZ engine. There is the original manual, service book, 2 keys and a Lotus Certificate of Provenance.

Over the years, it has been regularly serviced by either a Lotus dealer or Lotus specialist. I have replaced most things that go wrong with a Lotus, made improvements where appropriate, desirable, or just to improve driver experience. There is a pile of receipts and a spreadsheet of its history.

As a Lotus owner for 30+ years, this car has been my favourite, but I am moving on to an Elise S3. It has been out in the rain and doesn’t leak; and has been on track a little, though I am not competitive so has never been thrashed.

Over its life, it has benefited from:
• Lotus ECU reflash to improve performance midrange
• Colour coordinated centre console
• Footwell lighting
• TRD airbox
• Throttle pedal assembly
• Oil Cooler
• Switch pack module
• All alloy radiator
• A/C condenser
• 2 Batteries
• Lotus recalled oil lines
• Heater resistor pack
• S/S towing post
• Central door locking module
• Adjustable Nitron Street Series 2
• Nitron toe links & inner bearings
• Suspension refresh, Dynax coating
• Replacement Blaupunkt radio with USB
• Front end re-spray at end of 2017
• 2Bular exhaust (Standard exhaust available)
• 2 sets of Side window seals
• Carbon look sill covers
• Coolant Header tank

Please note the side pods are now painted body colour

What about the nitron inner bearings?
Also the rad was an all alloy upgraded version.
Are you sure the toe link kit was spitfire and not Nitron’s version?
Did you fit a removable steering whaal??

Thanks Dave, you’ve either got a better memory than me (not difficult), or a good system
Toe links: S2/S3 Elise and Exige (Toyota 4 cyl) Toe Link Kit (Tapered Uprights) … Are these Nitron or Spitfire ?
I’ve replaced the original steering wheel

A lovely car in a beautiful colour. I can vouch for the fact that it has been treasured by a true Lotus enthusiast. Best of luck with the sale.

A better example of a S2 Exige you could not find - best of with the sale Steve - someone is going to get an epic, well looked after Exige

A truly emaculate car, good luck with the sale!

Looks likely the Exige has sold. Will break my heart to see it go, but my new Elise 250 Cup is on the production line

THIS IS NOW BEING BROKEN UP…AS IT WONT SELL…ANYONE NEED ANY PARTS …please send any PMs to SCOOBY as he has what was left of the car now.???

What does that mean?

That most certainly is not my car.
There was only one other Autumn Gold Exige produced, and it did allegedly sell on ebay a month or so before mine went up for sale.
It looked a bit of a dog (IMO, compared to mine) having been turbocharged
