2006 laser blue s2 260 upgrade

Right… Not sure I ever saw myself doing this but after over 2 fantastic years with my exige S2 its time for a change.

I bought this car in early 2014 for my wedding car. Having always wanted a Blue exige I looked everywhere to try and find a good honest example. I found this car advertised on a lotus forum by a member who had owned the car from nearly new. The car was originally bought new from Stratstone Lotus Leicester in 2006. From 2008 to 2014 the car was then looked after by Brooke Kensington whereby it is well known and regarded ( I called them prior to me visiting the car to get there opinion ).

I bought the car as a completely standard 220s with roughly 19k miles on the clock.

Below is a current spec of the car as it stands now.

Sportpack from build including harness bar,T45 rollover hoop, Probax carbon effect seats, traction control, twin oil coolers (recently replaced).
Lotus 260 upgrade (Silverstone) including, Factory mapped ECU, fuel pump and bigger injectors.
Pro alloy Single pass twin core aluminium Radiator.
Pro alloy top mount fan Kit on laser cut mounting.
Stainless steel tow post with tow hook.
New rear discs
Hel Braided brake hoses
Belled 288mm Drilled front discs
Ferrodo Ds2500 pads.
Blasted & Re coated rear diffuser with new silver edging strip & stainless steel fixings.
TRD air box.
Black lotus badges (Nose & steering wheel and wheel center caps)
Large scoop mohawk roof panel. (Lotus upgrade)
Touring pack under seat and bulkhead carpets added
Powerflex yellow engine mount inserts.
Lotus 260 decals in Graphite.
Black wheel bolts
New Bosch S4 Battery
New Toe Links
New Drop links
Sony iPOD Stereo
Coated Wishbones
New spark plugs

Those who know will know that the car has had some nice modifications making it a lovely spec car. Oil lines recall was completed with 2 new oil coolers fitted by lotus Silverstone.

It really turns heads wherever it goes and the laser blue paint ( later colour ) is incredible when the sun shines on it. The car does have the normal stone chips that these cars suffer.

The car is really well known within certain circles of the lotus community so the car can be vouched for. Always kept in A1 condition and never left wanting for anything.

The car hasn’t been tracked and seems to spend more time sitting in the garage these days.

I am in the process of removing the private number plate but nowadays the dvla turnaround is days not weeks.

I’ve probably missed loads so please call to find out more. Its just a really honest low mileage car that’s never seen rain and lived in a heated garage. I have every bit of paperwork and invoice that I’ve bought and all mot certificates.

Sad to hear you’re selling mate. What a superb car, perfect spec (apart from a supercharger  )

A beautiful car stupidly well looked after in you tenure. Someone’s in for a cracking purchase. Good luck with the sale Kieran

Thanks Jonny,

I’m not going far I think. Will either end up in a s1 or a 420r from bat. They have offered to stick it in there showroom if I go for one which was really good of them.

Kind of you to say so about mine though. Going to be hard to part with it but I’ve just got he inkling for a change.

I will second what Jonny has said.

Extremely pampered car.

Surely it won’t hang around long at that low price

The dark side is soooooooo good  :smiling_imp:

We probably need to rebrand this site exigerham.com.
