my ‘u bend’ is also wrapped - concerned my back box is getting too hot - its moving quite a lot even on short drives - maybe too much back pressure - if I did put reflective material on the clam - where is all that heat going to end up…
ok… so its been a while since I posted an update - the car has been used, and I even did the ‘Intercooler’ track day in Sept 2022 - at that point I realised my suspension was a bit ‘old’ but due to buying an Emira, I didn’t have the funds to sort. I havnt done loads of miles in the last couple of years, but MOT last year showed that I had too much play in my rack, so needed a steering rack - and as a result…

Some of the bolts ‘May’ have needed some help (they were 20+ years old)
The underside of the car isn’t too bad for 21 years, but I have given a good clean, and painted the calipers, so it will be cleaner and newer underneath than the outside ! I also had the AC pipes done, so I will have AC again.
Wheels (originals) are showing age, so will have to do at some point, as is paintwork - need to learn how to use a machine polisher !
