Apparently , soon you’ll be able to run into Susanna Reid , and her infamous cleavage , when BBC Breakfast moves there.

Nooooooooo, do you reckon??
Not much gets past me guys
haha
That Chrome wrapped Maybach is possibly One of the most ridiculous road cars ever. I saw it at the Beeb the other day…what a twat.
Agreed, Ben - totally chavtastic!
You just can’t beat a subtle (or bland) coloured car
We made all the bespoke joinery for the Beeb (read giant sized flight cases for meeting rooms, 3m high baked bean tins for listening booths etc) get the feeling I need to arrange a breakfast time snagging meeting in the next few weeks
We never handover a building with defects
What you do at media city?
I walk around it, & much of Salford Quays most lunchtimes - try to cover 2 to 3 miles!
I’m sfa to do with “media”, but I work in an office situated on the Quays. It’s Media City’s official opening next week by HRH - at least her Bentley will show some class compared to those hideous Maybachs!
Tim - are you some sort of “luvvie” then?
Oops, just realised that Tim’s question was not addressed me - apologies
I work for BLL (now LL) - the main contractor.
I work in ICT - so the defect you raise had better be offered for inspection via BIW Steve
Not involved personally with that project - I work mainly with the london projects - so ill keep it secret if you don’t
Nah I’m a tech (I own a lotus after all) but specialise in media storage and asset management so have been up to Media City on the pedaleeeeno vomit commits a few times.

What a waste of licence payers money (IMHO) that BBC place is , all again about ego’s.
Localism is and was a red herring , they just spend our money like water. They built buildings in London that they never used or even moved in to, now they’ve extended what was Broadcasting House, in Portland St, and the cost of Millions , and now millions and millions in Salford

That might have made more sense if it was tapped out in morse code
