Exige I recently bought has had the above upgrade, came with all the surplus bits not required for upgrade. Has anyone an idea of the xtra bits I should have?Cheers Simon
You should have:1 x 87 deg thermostat1 x set of cam pulleys (ie one inlet, one exhaust)0 x 177 ECU as this was on an exchange basis. You may have (depending on whether they did the whole thing):1 x catalytic converter1 x standard sports exhaust.Cheers

I read the question as what will he have left over - and as the 87 deg thermostat was left over, and the 82 deg thermostat put in, the the extra bit will be the 87 degree thermostat!Cheers
MarkYou’ll have to excuse 83man, coz he’s getting on a bit - & a grandad to boot [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]
Wasn’t it only the inlet cam that was changed ? if so, only one cam pulley left over.
Long story, but I had to have the 190 fitted, although didn’t really want it - preferred route was DVA, Emerald, verniers etc. So I asked them not to fit the replacement pulleys, just give them to me instead - then I could sell them at a later date. They gave me two pulleys…Cheers
MarkSo do you have the Lotus 190 ECU, or the Emerald ECU plus verniers? If the former, which cam pulley is fitted - or do you have verniers?Only ask, because I was told when I had the 190 upgrade that the Lotus “190” cam pulley was a necessity (verniers not being considered).
I am now on Emerald, verniers, EBD manifold, awaiting head from DVA and design of my bespoke exhaust :-)Cheers
Mark,Tell me more about your exhaust [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]
What I am planning on doing(it might not be be possible)is having it exiting directly out the back - thats all. As long as it gets me under race noise regs I will be happy!I have as yet to seek out professional help / input yet, but it is something I am looking at for next year…Cheers
as in removing that 90 bend from the subframe and then straight out through a small silencer box to the back ?Guess that will be very noisy, what are the race regs on noise btwPhil
Yes - and it will be noisy, but hopefully I can get a big enough silencer on it (I don’t need the boot) - thats the bit I am not sure about. I seem to remember race regs are 107dB at 75% revs, but will check my blue book before I look into it in too much detail.Cheers
