Jealous, me?..
I wish mine was back on the road…must work faster
Pictures Simon???
Damned double posts (iPhones can be proper pants!)
Kurt
Are you jealous?
Didn’t see anyone with a camera, but in any event with 70 Lotus in the car park, they were spread about.
Those Scouscers eh, what a rum lot - they’ll tell you owt
Hey, never saw an intruder! I would happily have taken him back over the Pennines
It was a great S1 turnout. Without being exclusivist why don’t we organise an
S1 Exige-only. “do” for the northern/midlands lads to see how many we can get?
5 times more S1s than there are in my entire country!
Great idea Thommo. Please can we wait for just two months?Kurt
And 10 times more than in mine.
Following the seloc thread someone posted that the number of S1 Exiges represented “nigh on 10% of the UK S1 Exiges”.
Is that right?
Steve
They were referring to UK road registered numbers.
Yeah I thought that - but is that the actual number now…I know the figs have been posted previously but if that’s correct then I really didn’t take the figure in
No problem! Apart from the fact that I can’t organise a piss up in a brewery(at least, that’s what the wife says)
But it wd be fun wouldn’t it?
Fun?!? You bet it would! Very excited by the prospect.

I seem to recall 600 S1 were built with about 250 UK road registered. That was then, a bunch will now have gone abroad but being down to 100 on UK roads sounds a tad low in my view.
Ian
I think someone at Nyloc on Tues mentioned 156 currently road registered in UK so 10% is a bit out but I’m no mathematician.
According to DVLA figures at the end of 2011 there were 129 S1s taxed and on the road with 77 SORNed. That makes 206 still in UK.
Therefore 10 cars is 4.85% of UK registered cars.
The maximum number of cars registered as Exiges in UK before the launch of the S2 in May 2004 was 245 cars.
The same data says there are 710 S2 variants registered.
