It’s only a short bed lift (3.2m), smaller than I wanted but got it for a good price and should be perfect for working on the little S1.
Next job to wheel it across to the other side and test fit the car, just hope the jacking points align!

Been busy working on the house, so not much progress to report on the garage. I’ve managed to install a new (to me) Automotech four-post lift, after having the posts re-powder coated to match the garage doors. Not really necessary, but I couldn’t resist!
It’s only a short bed lift (3.2m), smaller than I wanted but got it for a good price and should be perfect for working on the little S1.
Next job to wheel it across to the other side and test fit the car, just hope the jacking points align!

The jacking beam wasn’t included in the advert when I bought it, as wasn’t the mobile wheel kit. In effect I got them for free! The lifts hardly been used by the previous owner, was just left behind when moving house.
At £3360 new, I thought it was a bargain at just over £1250
