Back on the market for real now
Lotus Exige S1 L8XGE HONDA Supercharged approx. 280 BHP.

This powerful car was well known in Northern Lotus circles when owned by its original purchaser.
Honda K20 Type R Engine and gearbox . Jackson Supercharger approx. 280 BHP.
1st registered Jan 2001 . 112000 miles 2 owners .
Spec includes :
Front end
AP Racing 4 pot Front brakes . Ali belled Discs with braided hoses.
ProAlloy triple pass Radiator with new hoses.
Battery isolation switch .
All new front lighting and mountings with new SS brackets where available. Replacement heater unit (Fan not working)
Cockpit
Exige sports seats ( 1 x S1 and 1 x S2) Drivers 5 point Willans harness. Passengers Schroth 4 point
Sparco Suede removable steering wheel
Plumbed in FEV Gas Extinguisher with external and internal activation.
Custom Cages uprated roll bar.
Additional gauges : Oil Pressure ,Oil Temp. Water Temp.
Shift-I gear change lights.
Door cards and Sill scuff protectors recovered in Alcantara By Alon White

Refurbished by Lotus Power. Including new oil cooler hoses.
All new Sound deadening and Heat shielding.
Large bore SS exhaust system including CAT by Pipewerks …Track day friendly.

Lotus Power front and rear splitters.
Uprated toe links.
Motorsport Engine cover
Carbon- fibre rear wing and side intake covers

Since my purchase in 2015 it has undergone extensive (expensive) refurbishment including :
All new front and rear suspension Balls, Bearings, Bolts and Bushes . Wishbone refurbishment, Nitron Shocks & front callipers rebuilt.
Numerous fasteners changed to SS or replaced with OEM units where appropriate.
Sold with good tyres, Long MOT, Owners handbook, spare keys, L8XGE registration and a huge file of paperwork which includes original Lotus sales brochure AND Spare “short” engine.

Paint work is showing signs of wear in places .
NB Have made a hash of the images ... will email if you would like to see them.... Colour scheme is Gulf Petroleum tribute Blue/ Orange
PS reason for sale is I am 80 and although I can still get in and out of it its time to acknowledge I am not a teenager any more.
