Thanks Andy, this is my 3rd engine conversion on a car now. The rewards knowing you've done it are very satisfying but equally you do have some bad tracing issues etc. Overall it is worth it though!

So I thought it was probably about time I put an update in here.
After getting the car on the road last year I still wasn't happy with the rocker cover - I attempted painting it but that didn't go too well so I ended up buying a new one from Tegiwa.
Installed
I then did a trackday later last year with a few mates at Snetterton. Absolutely great day - I was getting fuel starvation which I wasn't expecting but have since bought a fuel tank to combat that. I also had an issue with a CV joint which Stark sorted out rather promptly.
Out for a drive with a few mates

We then moved house - this was leaving the old garage for the last time
New garage - Very full on moving day
A lotus shaped hole
Myself and friend then decided to finally tackle the orange peel after a year and a half after paint
I got some Harnesses from Jon Seal
and a couple of Exige seats - one is from LotusJay off SELOC - Cheers!
This one is off eBay which was a bit of a steal. I've already been in contact with a trimmer to get it matched to the existing which should be happening in Feb.

Overall I'm loving the Honda lump. The sound and power increase really has added to the enjoyment of the car even more.

Cheers Andy. Yeah the K20 is brilliant. It would be interesting to see how it compares to being in a 2ZZ - from the videos I’ve seen I get the impression the gear ratios are shorter on the K20 which might be adding to that liveliness.
