Re: Track Preperation Part 1
Wow, that is a big chip you have on your shoulder there Simon.Just Finished My Audi Install last week...
Good luck with yours Sean, it will be good to see a properly sorted Audi on the grid next year rubbing shoulders with the Hondas....
If youre only looking for 300ish BHP then Running a De-Tuned Engine should help reliability
- You don't have to have an unreliable engine to perpetually "DNF" - ask Sean
Fortunately for you, Sean has had the good grace not to insult you on this forum and reveal exactly why he DNF'd at Spa.
Although you will not understand, and no doubt come back with more crap, that is why you have lost the respect of many on here. Also for the same reason, people have been turned off buying both your engines and your book, IMvHO.
Re: Track Preperation Part 1
Sean, will be very interested to know your final weight once the conversion is finished. Yours being one of the only race prepped Audi/exige it will be good relevant data. Are you able to measure weight distribution front to rear ?
I guess anything under 780kilos should be a good result and will give an awesome Power to weight ratio !!!
I wish i had access to some scales as i would love to weigh mine...

Re: Track Preperation Part 1
This is Seans thread about his prep and its a massively useful resource - its no place for this sort of nonsense.
I have opened up a thread in the k series forum and you can surely post on that?
Could you not consider editing and removing your post on this thread?

ROFLMAO at the irony of that statement. You really come over like a small child sometimes Russ - grow up, stop being so bloody borgouise in your attitudes and realise that actually the engineering is more important than being matey, not that you have thanked me still for all those laser copies.
In any event it's far better than being all "piss & wind". That is a pikey Northern term for someone who is all bluster, with nothing solid to back it up.
PS I must agree with Johnboy on this one. Perhaps Sean would care to start a brand new thread about his Audi conversion progress - it deserves it's own spotlight after the racing season he's had.
Re: Track Preperation Part 1
No. There were 5 there with 3 failures.I hear 5 sc hondas broke too
I guess you wouldn't understand that, but to me it is really important to understand why, not only my K broke, but why I have got hold of one of the broken Spa sc hondas.
AJK, Evosal & Walshy
So who's engine have you got?

Simon,I hear 5 sc hondas broke too
Please answer me one question - why did you post that statement? No dancing around or bullshit, just a straightforward answer, please.
Russ

Well, it's not Evosal's, as he's stripping that one down himself.No. There were 5 there with 3 failures.I hear 5 sc hondas broke too
