After thinking about upgrading the garage for a while and after decorating most of the house in the first few weeks of lockdown I thought it was about time the garage had a spruce up.
So out went the carpet, walls repainted and new flooring fitted. Got a bit creative with the design but if I want to change it about in a couple of years time the tiles come apart fairly easily
Fits like a glove
Just some plastic skirting and a new light fitting and it will be complete
I'd love to have a clean garage like that, but the work bench is now used for storing excess shopping, I have shelving with dog food & marine fish tank supplies, 3x bikes and rugby ball & basketball storage. All cluttering up the garage
I keep meaning to add another Nest Protect to my collection and stick it in the garage. Read one too many horror stories about people reversing into their garage and then dropping dead because the fumes have lingered a bit too long...!
Great job, Adrian,
Been thinking about flooring the garage for years but keep hitting the same problem: Mrs Thommo!
She thinks it's a waste of time and money, will hold dust. etc, etc.
I have pointed out that as the door from the recently renewed kitchen opens straight out into the garage new flooring would enhance the whole household experience.I'll keep trying . . .
