Accounting for inflation...

Post by Elise111S » Wed Nov 28, 2018 5:34 am

My £34000 Exige, bought by a previous owner in August 2000, would cost £54000 today, some 18 years later.

That sounds like a bargain when you compare it to the ridiculous money Lotus want for new cars these days.

A new sport 350 Exige starts at £57000, so comparable at today's prices and with much more kit as standard if that's what floats your boat.

I consider the present Lotus offerings very poor value for money - so I'm out unfortunately - real shame but you can only do so many makeovers..

Hope Lotus can get their mojo back under Geely..
