Can I have a bit of a poll here, what static test readings do you record on trackdays? And what is your exhaust setup?
Thanks

Always reads 105DB static at 5200 rpm (3Eleven with Standard Lotus system fitted)
92 static with a Chris Tullett large back box and de cat but it's the drive by that buggered me.
Supercharger whine trips the meters. Stupid really as the high pitched stuff doesn't travel to the houses, it's the low pitched exhaust stuff that's the environmental issue

Have to agree, got black flagged at Donny due to SC whine going towards the microphones, they let me back on in the end as they agreed I could not have been setting them off going towards them, never went again on a quiet day as I realised I would never get away with it again.661 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 5:38 pm 92 static with a Chris Tullett large back box and de cat but it's the drive by that buggered me.

Had a similar issue with Roller Barrels on my Caterham R300 at Doni, ended up just shifting up early/part throttle under the start and finish bridge where the meter is hanging from, not the end of the world unless you are against the clock on a track day which you perhaps shouldn't be in all honesty. Apparently there is a meter at the back of the circuit but can't have been plugged in...
