My ex’s Dad works for (well… owns) Gazely… I’ll ask him if he knows any plans with ASDA distribution mate.
Cheers, all ready looking at options and phoned a few people to see what’s about.

Just need to find a company who need a good web strategist. Not many about, bit of a specialist role but I’ve got some sh1t hot sites on my CV.
I’d have thought that was a growing role and ripe for doing a bit profitable freelance consultancy.
Chin up, I have more hope for you now you’ve said that!
Ian
Yep, been up to Right Coutts today, they are very positive about it. Doing my CV for the next week (apparently it’ll take that long)
I just dont know how to go about getting freelance work
Try - http://www.jobserve.co.uk/
And PM Admin5 (are you there David?), I understand all his millions (speaking figuratively or otherwise) were made building an Internet recruitment business. But I forget the site name now.
Ian
I hope not.
Part of my severance package is a 6 month program with a management consultant called Right-Coutts in Lower Regent Street. They help you do all your research and identify your strengths etc… The CV should pop out the end of this in a week or two then I start looking. Been to a couple of meetings so far so I’ve got fingers crossed…
I’m an Exec Headhunter…don’t wait for the outplacement guys to do your CV - its one thing they screw up. YOU know YOU better. They will try and over complicate it, tweak it, redesign it…everything possible. The best CVs are the most simple. Simple facts, simple details of what you’ve done, where and when. No pointless ‘self analysis’, no pointless summaries, no pointless profiles…just raw facts that people (who’s opinion WILL make a difference) can form an opinion on.
Your CV is your sales document. The best sales documents are simple and massively informative!!
Let me know if you need any help…I’ll turn your CV round in 24 hours…

Well done Gary - this is another fine example of “Exigeness”
Fantastic,
just emailing you now.
The outplacement people have been good thus far. Helped me identify what type of person I am using the birkman test, and although they were something I already sort of knew, it wasnt something I realised was relevant to the CV.
I’m on the CV now, doing some online stuff, which is udeful because I dont have one as I was in my last role for 5 years.
Thanks for your help!
