Where's yours spending the winter!

Like Krispy Kreme doughnuts?

In the garage on axle stands for a long hibernation while I decide which way to go with the development next year. No plans for competing in 2011 but which way to go in 2012?

Race it

  1. Minimum mods and keep it LoT legal to try some Elise Trophy races? (shame theyā€™re mainly darn sarf)

Stick to rallying it
2) Go for the Audi conversion - must have a 34mm inlet restrictor, so is it worth it :frowning:
3) Stay N/A in 2000cc class and develop the Toyota motor and gearbox

Hmm, what to do? Iā€™m really enjoying my time on circuit but donā€™t like the idea of someone taking me out univited in a race and trashing the car. At least on the stages Iā€™m the only tool that is responsible for stuffing it.

in the garage, the odd outing, then hopefully at TTS for a couple of weeks while we fit new cams and a bigger S/C

On the road (not on 048s), and in the garage at night.
A nice cold damp garage with moss growing up the walls and a 2" layer of pine needles on the top.

Car filthy, and now with added road salt and grit :frowning:

Am I mad ??

No, similar to what im doing at the moment, i like to think its more ā€˜hard coreā€™ than mad

Esprit, Just caught up with your progress. Amazing. Iā€™m ashamed to say that mine will be cuddled up in the garage under her pyjamas with no modifications, upgrades or improvements, save for finally fitting the gas struts to lift the engine cover(maybe)

Thanks Thommoā€¦ nice to be able to finally say mineā€™s nearing the end. This time next month, I should be able to unleash a nice christmas present to myself on the world!

Tucked up for the winter.

Jobs to do, full service, rear toe links and a new battery.

How did you get permission to leave the car in the kitchen/diner over winter!

I told her that i was putting some artwork in there

Very jealous of your garages. Mine is spending time in unheated cold garage all alone in the Netherlands. Waiting for me to come home and

Oooo, I lied. Mine will spend the winter here:

Or when I take it down to my place in Spain it will be here:

Or when I go to my winter place in Swiss it will be here with the rest of my toyā€™s:

See you also have a rather large set of speakers on the wall!!!

VERY cool set-up Grahamā€¦ In my dreamsā€¦

(mine has got carpet though!!!)

all those warm dry garages are making me feel almost guilty.

not really.

mineā€™s on the drive, winter tyres went on last weekend.

the skip can take the worst of the muck, rain and potholes but if thereā€™s a chance of sunshine, the exige is getting a run.

Dont feel too guilty mineā€™s not dry or warm either, just in the middle of rebuilding it.
Plenty of company though

NICE!!!

I recognise the S2 Elise (I think???)

Did you get the lightening yellow Sport 135 from Paul Matty? Lovely car! Made the original owner an offer 7 months before PM got itā€¦ the same as PM had it advertsied for!

Liked the Reverie carbon diffuser, OZ alloys, sports seats etc etc! NICE one! :sunglasses:

Yep thats the one, absolutely mint car, those 135 sports really are good, build no 001 as well

Very envious of all you garage boys :frowning: Mine is roughing it outside on my drive. Iā€™ve just been out to put the cover back on and plug the Accumate back in and itā€™s proper cold out there.

Took the car out last night to pop over and see Quoā€¦when you donā€™t drive it for a few weeks you forgetā€¦that is one rapido vehicle :sunglasses:

ā€¦oh and especially envious of Chris with not only a garage but a garage stacked full of tasty Lotiā€¦git.
