VSCC Lakes Event

I see you made it to Honister then - always worth a visit when the VSCC trial is on. Let’s hope they get their ‘rope slide’.

Why does the VSCC want a rope slide???

Because we want the mine to remain a viable site for VSCC trials! And I wouldn’t mind a go on it. See ZIP WIRE for more details.

Great video footage - OF A PROPER CANYON

Didn’t see any Ghurkas though

Looks like a great day out. I reckon I’m still a few decades away from being eligible to attend myself though looking at those pics

Sean, you’d be surprised, matey. There were many male & female drivers in their 20s/30s/40s. I guess they driving “family cars” previously driven by their parents/grandparents, & as always at VSCC events, there was a lot of camaraderie among those present, both watching & competing.

You ought to ask Helen to include a crevat in your Xmas pressies

haha

Of course you didn’t - but they were there

PS Don’t hold your breath for the “totty” pics, sorry mate. We were sat in the Cafe having a bite to eat, or we were walking along as they were driving past - some real stunners though  [/quote]

And posh totty, too, I dare say. VSCC seems to attract 'em. You know what they say about them posh birds . . .?

Sean, there’s more than one way to abuse a motor car and VSCC trialling is about the most fun you can legally have with any car in the UK. This hill is one of the easier ones that most people manage to complete. It seems to be an insane thing to do with a pre-war sports car; to take it within an inch of its life and thrash it until it will go no further. Is it, perhaps, the only form of motors sport in which the organisers deliberately set out to make you fail the test?? But it is Competitive and it is FUN, with plenty of scope for the workshop activities afterwards…

…oh, and Rob’s right - it’s not all old men. Watch the video again and look at the drivers rather than the cars. Perahps have a look HERE for some more photos of this trial.

Yep, they don’t appear in the Daily Star, only Playboy

I agree it looks great fun.

Deffo posh totty there Steve.

What is it they say about them again?

Ewww

Looks like a lardy cake to me? If so had doc given you a weekend off Rob? I thought it was all Riveta and asprins for you these days

Is he eating his wallet, so he doesn’t have to buy a round?
