Value BHP.

Sounds like a purchase coming on then, and you can swap it on to the next elise derivative your tempted by!S160 owner,Possibly Exige owner!

Check my post under running gear it has the parts no. and the cost

Apparently you cna have the short shoft fitted to your standard 'box. Tony, do you reckon that would make a difference as well?

Hi Simon. I’m told that you get the short action and some improved feel from the short shift mechanism on its own, but that some of the improved feel comes from the new internals. I’m afraid I don’t know what the split is though, as I’ve only driven a car with both, but I can tell you that together the combination was pretty stunning. See my Lotus Exige / 340R track day post in the Track Days area for more info. [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

Got a reply back from lotus Tech yesterday about the poor power and bad mapping from the 190 kit. It was quite long but basicly says.“184 bhp is plenty and good enugh for us F**k off”

I’m having the 190 kit fitted next week - I know I’m going to regret it but whilst in warranty (and something tells me I’ll need it), I can only fit Lotus bits. In a years time, I’ll rag it out and put a proper mod on…T

Its done she is booked in for the mods on my return from Le-Mans Ok here you go. David has been e-mailed the prices and the effective results. The Modifications will give a reliable 220BHP and massive 160+ llb torque. The cost is going to be around 2750 all in and will take around 3 weeks. I believe this could be the best value for money BHP around 40-50 bhp for 2750. The chap who is doing the work does it for the love and not for profit so please dont all mither him at once. If anyone else is interested then e-mail me and I will ask him if he would like to do any more.Shame I have already spent money on my 190 upgrade or should I say 184. Still the only things going to waste are the ECU and The cam pulley oh! And the labour. ECU going cheap any one? Cams for sale! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] Anyone like to estimate the actual performance?(Here you go David, Plonk em right ere.)[Admin] Okey Dokey, here they are… File 1File 2[Admin End][This message has been edited by Admin5 (edited 25 April 2001).]

NAME YOUR PRICE.

Before you sell it, can I get a man who knows to copy it, and overlay the programming onto my chip ? He will do it for a very respectable 50.00

And David is quite right I am sure if it can be done lotus will kick my ass if they find out you have got a copy! You will need the cam pully to dial in the timing any how. Just buy my OEM stuff. Sort it out between yourselves. It will not be availible until after LE-mans as I don’t fancy pushing my car there, So from the last week in May. Let me know!
