V6 Exige price list

If it’s true then it’s bloody quick , faster than a GTR a GT3 even faster than a Nobley M400 and about The fastest thing I have been in .

Oh and that’s not OTR price so the dealer tells me , I think it works out 51ish

Prices are a pleasant surprise.

If the original ones were 32k back in 99, and you add inflation each year then you get to 41,600 - the new prices for a V6 engine and a few extra toys does sound more reasonable.

I remeber being at the original S1 Exige launch at Brands Hatch and the car didn’t realy grab me (or anyone else judging by the sales figures) there and then but grew on me over a few months. Willing to give this one the same time frame to see if it’s a possible replacement.

I think a test drive will be a big decider, just hope I don’t have to wait behind a long queue of others who have no intention of buying one.

Has anyone seen any interior pics???

You need to nick your Dad,s car for an hour m8!!

Lol , I shite myself just looking at it , not sure I could drive it anyway .

Seriously though I can’t believe it’s quicker than a M400 , a mate had one and it was bonkers until it went bang !
With the new trick suspension I can imagine there will be some pissed off 458 owners watching Top Gear

Fookin hell - looks like mine (not quite as good) with some leather door pulls - pretty crap for a 60K GT road car.

I think they’ve got confused - it’s got GT looks and pricing and track car interior

I was hoping for a much better quality interior for 60K - just look inside a Gayman - oohh I mean Cayman

Stop complaining, it’s got Porka GT3 door pulls

I agree the interior hasn’t really moved on at all.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the S2 interior, just expected the V6 interior to be another step on.

You like the S2 interior ??? :astonished: I only put up with it because it’s a track car

This is much better Porsche 718 model overview - Porsche Great Britain

I personnaly can’t see how the carry over of an S2 cabin would allow anything too different to that previously on offer, other than choice of materials & what they are used to cover. It is still going to be the same basic look & feel of the S2.

For the money & coming from S1’s and S2’s i’d want something entirely new & different. Re-using the same basic cabin a third time isn’t going to do it.

I don’t understand why Lotus didn’t apply the VVA concept to the new Exige  If they had it could have been much better imho.

You can see the thought process at Hethel with this car.

Hmmmm, Toyota haven’t got any ‘performace’ engines that are EU5 compliant.
Wheres that Evora mule gone?
How can we productionise it while waiting for the new range?
Get your thinking caps on, we need to outperform all the engine conversion specialists.
And leave some headroom for a Cup spec version in 6-12 months.

Why not to be honest. If it sells cars in the interim, shows some turnover for little outlay when most of the work has been done and fills a gap between Elise and Evora.

I’m with John, I think its the right thing and I really hope it does well. I know a least a couple of guys outside of our community who seem like they might be interested which is fantastic news.

I think its also good news for those engine conversion guys. I’m sure the day when a factory-fresh Exige V6 Cup comes screaming past me on circuit, I’ll be booking in with John for CC and JDM Cams…after I’ve called Mike Wilds naturally

hahahaha at Ben.

I think the S2 interior is a nice place to be. I’m not expecting it to be a Maybach. It is smart and functional and comfy in my opinion.

I hope it does well too, as I’m sure we all do.

I hope it is a success too. But having already done the S1 S2 thing the V6 won’t feel special enough on the inside for me.

I do like my S2 though :sunglasses:

I would imagine the interior of an Elise/ Exige is very much dictated by the design of the chassis. There’s very little room inside the cabin to do more than what they have with it…

Sure there will be somewhere round Birmingham that can ‘bling’ out the interior for you Sean…
heated seats wtf is that about ?
0-100 in 7.8 and 265/45/18 rears Mmmmmmm
cooled seats would be more useful…

Saw this in the flesh today in a sort of pearl maroon, not that impressed tbh the arse of it looks pretty wrong up close
