Use it!

Thommo - brill - look forward to hearing more of the detail when we test drive Pierre’s new car.

Seconded. Nice write up & good to hear your car was faultless.

Great write up Steve, looking forward to next meet for more details and pics.

Sounds like a trip for Shrek in the future

Yep I enjoyed reading it too, looking forward to meeting up and finding out more soon

Me too Steve, glad you had a great time. Where did you stay and eat at the Ring?

The Dorint Hotel.
Ate at Subway!!!
It was the one low spot of the whole trip for me, as I had hoped to round off the German leg of the tour with a giant piece of pork knuckle, dumplings and sausages, accompanied by lashings of wheat beer.

Great write up, sounds like a fantastic trip. Col du Turini is still on my to do list.

I’d take the subway steak n cheese over a Haxe though

Thanks Steve - brought back memories of the couple of trips you organised & I tagged along. :sunglasses:

Lovely write up!

Great to see you and fabulous to know the exige ran free and wild

My milage for the BBQ was about the same but less interesting. I should have taken a casino shot as Miss double D suggested (face palm!)

How you managed the payage/toll machines without a passenger is amazing. Im trapped in the Evora as there is not enough width to open the door to get out!!

SJW, thanks for those pics. I somehow managed not to take any pics at all in Monaco. Will have to rely on Fiona for Casino shots.

Great pics Steve. Is it just me or does the LF1 look huge in some shots compared to the other cars present?

Fantastic write up, very evocative, I really enjoyed that :sunglasses:

Reading your words and seeing the pics has made me really really want to do a road-trip like this.

Yes, there seems to be some distortion on the picture.
I don’t know what I have done there, but it is also like that on the original before I cut the van out on the right
Even the S1 looks wider than mine, and both S3s are the same width.

Maybe just the black of the car merging with the shadows in the background? The other S3 isn’t affected by the look of it.

Epic trip btw, i’d love to do one someday.

Glad you enjoyed the write-up, chaps. It was an epic trip and I have Pesky and all the Northern gang to thank for encouraging me to go. And without SJW it wouldn’t have happened at all.

Looks absolutely fantastic!

Glad you had a great time.

Found my Monaco pictures. And lots more. But can’t at the moment upload to Photbucket for some reason, either from iPad or PC. Complete load of bollocks, these computer thingies!

Yeah they will never catch on
