They say all good things come in 3's.......

Tar Will

Well after tonight I guess all good things dont come in bloody fours damn it! Still Europe’s totallly over
rated.

OK I’ve pulled out of the sale, I am having second thoughts on the GTR. The price just does not add up not pre Sat Nav/Bluetooth launch cars anyway. The Sat Nav cars came out today and Nissan have announce that they are now supplying unlimited numbers to the UK. Deliveries for Nov/Dec are already coming in this month. The cars up at the high end on Autotrader and Pistonheads have not moved. Im not prepared to take this hit, itll be massive. I’d aggreed 56k locally two weeks ago but Im more likely to drive to Co Durham and buy the white GTR up at 51,500 right? I also think not having been run in it is a disadvantage as you have to arrange collection to somewhere not on your doorstep. Such a huge hit would be madness, that will lose 20k in 12months I reckon…what do you guys think?

It’s not just because Sean farted in that one is it mate???

I take it the white one is the one on PH? What exactly is the intended use for the ‘GTR Tape Measure’ listed as included in the sale?

Seriously though I can understand why you’re nervous about ~50k on a toy car with unknown residual performance. I’m sure they are fantastic but you do already own a great trackcar. If I was in the market for a day-to-day hypercar I’d probably burn 30k on an E60 M5 where someone else has already swallowed the 50% residual hit. By the time you’re bored with it there will probably be GTR’s in the 35-40k bracket with <20k miles.

Forgot to add that my approach would also yield 20k in JSRacing vouchers

The prices are already spread wildly from 46k to 58k only for a few thousand miles, probably made the best choice and try to find a low milage car in another 6 months or so and save yourself 10k

TBO I think you’ve made the right decision.

As a pure indulgence a great buy, a technology showcase, but a flawed offering in the UK IMO.

Where can you use it? Drive it hard on the road and it will just be a matter of time before plod ruins that for you. Drive it on track and you’ve invalidated your warranty and unloaded a serious amount of cash in consumables.

Its a great car and as an indulgence it doesn’t matter that it can’t be used fully.

Jonny does this mean you are keeping the R32?

Harvey.

No that’s going Harvey, not sure what to get now…driving the Exige for a while I guess

Happy choosing

Could be worse - having an Exige as a daily drive!

Doh, I was looking forward to a ride in the GTR, but reading the posts above I think you have done the right thing.

I like Ben’s M5 idea.

I’ve actually bought something you’ll like mate :sunglasses: Had no choice really as I’ve run out of cars what with Leslie Lotus poorly  (Yes my car has a gay name and I like it) Gave the go ahead after speaking with you earlier!

Back to guessing?

Damn someones got it already, will post pics next week!

So is it Ronald Renault then?

I’ve hinted lol

The Lexus ISF?

Japan Rocks

The gear change is bloody excellent in M, better than the M3 imo and in D it’s very smooth indeed. The engine noise is totally mental similar to the RS4…sounds like a mini gun over 4k. Being a Lexus it wants for nothing or a least I thought it didn’t until I got it home…how I missed the fact it only has two seats in the back I’ll never know  :astonished: seriously

You nutter!!!

Superb, Jonny.

I DO NOT like BMWs
