In my email I gave you the same price for 8 rooms as for 18 rooms as contracted, I made an effort towards you to satisfy your request.
If the 3 nights wasn�t possible for you, you should have called me to talk about it. How could I have known it?
Unfortunately according to the contract that you signed, there is a cancellation fee of 50% for the 8 rooms on 3 nights that you�ve booked.
Cancellation and Attrition policy
The hotel reserves the right to apply the following cancellation terms and conditions, by right and without notice:
a) Until 90 days before the scheduled arrival date, the whole, or part thereof, of the reservation may be
cancelled without penalty.
b) Until 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the cancellation of the reservation will be subject to a
penalty equivalent to 50 (fifty) % of the price of the cancellation(s).
c) Within 30 days until 3 working days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the cancellation of the reservation
will be subject to a penalty equivalent to 75 (seventy-five) % of the price of the cancellation(s).
d) Within 3 working days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the cancellation of the reservation will be
subject to a penalty equivalent to 100 (hundred) % of the price of the cancellation(s).
It is in total: 1440�
Normally as contracted you are supposed to stay 3 nights en book 8 rooms but if you book 8 rooms on 2 nights I would be ready to not charge you any cancellation fees . If not, I will have to send you an invoice of 1440�

Dear John, It�s not a problem to organize it as last year. I have blocked 20 rooms for you for the Sunday 29/07/12 until 01/08/12. You can find attached the document to fill for the bookings. The contract is just a guarantee for me that you will come. Nothing more than that. I can offer you a good deal that you can mention on the contract: no cancellation fees until June 2012. After that I give you one or two cancellations for free but I have to be able to free the rooms early enough if you are not coming. I hope that you understand and that you will send it back to me next week. Have a nice Christmas and a happy start of the year 2012.

it�s all getting very petty, the have a nice day bit is so unprofessional. My replies have been nothing but polite and constructive. I suppose I could post this on trip advisor or whatever but I would say she has misled me some what. I think we’re 82 days to arrival. Never mind roll on Spa trip
If you want to eat out of the Hotel you have an excellent restaurant just 300m up the road, walk back towards Francorchamps, past the dodgy F1 hotel (do not eat there!) and it’s up the hill on the right hand side.

I guess she forgot she agreed BY JUNE. Tbh fellas she’s played the bully card too often during our discussions hence the move, sorry for the inconvenience, it just didn’t feel right. Guido who I’ve dealt with booking approx 30 rooms for between 1-3 nights including food and beer over the last two years was this girls polar opposite. And if she is reading this thread…

Stage 3 has been fitted and sounds pretty good to me - bizarrely its quieter at 80mph than 70mph, but with pops and gurgles galore when warmed through.
Had to change my travel time outbound, I now won’t be able to convoy, aiming now to be at the Hotel for about 10PM
