What are peoples thoughts on eurotunnel crossing times?
I’m looking at outbound on the 29th between 10am&Noon, and returning on the 31st between 8pm&10pm (assumes leaving Spa at around 5pm).
Prices for those slots are currently �87 & �122 for ‘Short Stay Savers’ & ‘Standard Single’ tickets respectively.
Seeing as the Olympics will be in full swing, I think it’ll be wise to book up asap, as prices will only rise.
Thoughts?

We have usually as a group met up for a Euro convoy and got on the 1220 on the Sunday. The home trip kind of depends what people have planned. Some head home on the Tuesday about 4ish while others me included leave on the Wednesday morning and book for about 1pm. Some go on to Zanvoort or the Ring if its open at all that week.

how far is it in terms of distance to spa??
Calais - Spa = 215 miles (Bruges, Brussels, Liege - northern route) or 225 miles (Lille, Liege - southern route).
Zeebrugge - Spa = 160 miles ((Bruges, Brussels, Liege - northern route).
3hrs from Brum and 3 hrs from Calais…easy
Hull ferry - no boring drive to the south coast, a few beers on the ferry, and less mileage the other end
That’s definitely the way to do it Worth calling in at Zolder Circuit too , as it’s “on route”.
That’s 2ish hours to the coast for me, plenty of waiting and 4 hours to Spa. No thanks I leave at 9 and I’m there before 5 local time. And the convoy is not particular boring…
Might have to be a little more sensible this year, my ear still hurts from my OTT driving there last year
